Hopes and Wade play, Delhi bowl

Virender Sehwag won the toss at the DY Patil Stadium and asked the home side, Pune Warriors, to bat as Delhi Daredevils bid to end their winless start to the 2011 season of the IPL. They are presently bottom of the 10-team league, having lost both their games, while Pune are top, after winning two out of two.

Delhi made three changes to the XI that lost to Rajasthan Royals. They left out allrounder Roelof van der Merwe, fast bowler Morne Morkel and batsman Unmukt Chand and brought in allrounder James Hopes, wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Wade and fast bowler Umesh Yadav.

Pune made just one, leaving out left-arm spinner Murali Kartik and bringing in batsman Abhishek Jhunjhunwala.
